Translating Mumtaz Ali's Work on Rights of Women

For the longest time, I have been looking for Maulana Mumtaz Ali’s Urdu text, Haqooq-q-Niswan, (The Rights of Women) but had no access to it. To me this is the most important text of religious explanation of gender roles in Islam and the most courageous one of its kind as it challenges the male-dominant explanation of gender roles in the Islamic tradition from within the Islamic tradition itself.
Having found the Urdu original on archive.org, I will now start posting my weekly translation installments on this and other blogs. Meanwhile, anyone with some detailed information on the life of Mumtaz Ali, please feel free to contact me.
